Sea monster

I created this piece in a class with Hawaiian turner Michael Lee. I turned and hollowed the body, leaving an area projecting off to the left.

Next, I carved away most of the visible surface to create the monster's tentacles, and textured them (which also made them look darker).

Finally, I finished the piece with Watco and wax.
