Cherry tomato

This vessel began as a sphere with a hat brim.

After hollowing it, I carved away most of the "brim" to create the leaves which droop over the sides, then textured them and painted them with acrylic paint. The stem and lid were similarly textured and painted.

Finally, I applied Watco oil to the natural wood parts of the vessel.
