Adjustable scraper

This is an adjustable-angle, replaceable-tip scraper for woodturning.

I made the shaft from O1 tool steel, and cut the adjustable tip from D2. I then hardened, tempered, and ground it. The tips can be ground in various shapes and clamped at any angle with a cap screw.

I cut the ferrule from heavy brass tubing, and turned the handle from walnut. After polishing the metal parts, I epoxied them to the wooden handle and finished the handle with linseed oil and wax.
